Estate Pickups

For furniture and usable items that you don’t know what to do with, Second Chance Estate Clearing will remove these items for a nominal cost. Our pickups ensure usable items find new homes and are not just discarded. Items we cannot sell are donated to our list of charitable partners. 1% of all sales are donated to our community partners.

This service is perfect if you have already done the majority of your own estate clearing and are looking to rehome items that are in good shape but you no longer need.

How It Works

Using our easy five-step process, Second Chance Estates helps you through the emotional and stressful parts of downsizing in a relaxing and supportive way. Our team of organized and friendly estate specialists will take all the hard work, and heavy lifting off your plate!

  1. Walkthrough: We’ll go through the home with you to get an idea for the types of items you’re looking to clear, the amount of time and sorting required, and to talk through your needs.

  2. Package Selection: You’ll receive a package selection with a timeline and pricing. Once you’ve chosen one and your deposit is received, we’ll schedule your clearing to begin.

  3. Sorting and Clearing: We’ll organize your items per your directions, removing anything for donation, sale, or trash, leaving only what you plan to keep or give to family.

  4. Selling: Sale items will be posted online, or sold in person, at fair market value so we can find them loving new homes.

  5. Payouts: Depending on the package you’ve chosen; you will receive applicable payouts or deposit returns.
